Team

Matthew Celmer, RA, Founder

Matthew is an architect and designer whose work is driven by ideas, sustainability, and a rigorous attention to detail.

He earned his Master of Science in Architectural Design from Columbia University, where he was awarded the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize, following his Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University.

Prior to founding MCV in 2020 his professional foundation was built at the renowned firms Weiss/Manfredi and SOM, where he gained experience across a wide range of project types and scales.

This practice is complemented by a commitment to the discipline’s future; Matthew has taught design studios at both Syracuse University and the New York City College of Technology.

Matthew is a Registered Architect in New York and Florida.
