At our first project in The Bronx, NYC, we worked closely with our client and team to reconstruct an existing rear extension that had fallen into serious disrepair. This reconstruction was part of a larger renovation of a duplex apartment unit within a multi-family building. In the vast scale of the city, this project represents a small but meaningful gesture: an effort to improve, renovate, and make livable a single home within the broader housing fabric.

Working with a moderate budget, we sought opportunities to bring thoughtful design into the project. The rebuilt extension now serves as a home office, featuring large sliding doors that open to the new rear yard and multiple side windows that fill the space with natural light.
